Motorhome-World was established to give the consumer more choice on the South African market at a competitive price.Only quality wood and nydacore is used in all panels, so that no wood rot can occur as can so easily happen in other motorhomes and caravans. Push buttons for cupboards are made of brass and virtually unbreakable. Items like taps, doorlocks and other items are imported by the designer. The Discoverer range is made with sandwich panels, which consists of a GRP outer skin a Polypropylene honeycomb core and waterproof plywood sheets.The fact that with the use of the newest technology available it means that the external walls of the camper is assembled without any screws, this means that the polyester skins which are the outer wall coverings have no screw holes and are sealed on the construction joints. With this method of construction the Discoverer motorhomes are leak & dust proof.European standards have been integrated into the building and design while not forgetting the unforgiving circumstances that Southern Africa can present. The chassis that currently grace the Discoverer 4 and 6 ranges are imported from Europe by Iveco SA and adopted at their European manufacturing plant, so that no modifications need to be made to the chassis locally. This results in a standard chassis that is able to hold and maintain its life as a motorhome. The Specifically choosen chassis for the Discoverer X motorhome is a local manufatured product and well suited for our Southern African conditions. This 4x4 Patrol chassis is supplied by Nissan SA.
